SECTION 03 // INFRASTRUCTURE TELEMETRY
Server Logs, Hosting & Processing Outside Canada or Quebec
When your browser requests a page or image from FrostComet, our hosting infrastructure automatically records a standard technical server log entry. Here are the exact details of how those logs operate:
- What server logs record
- We keep no visitor logs of our own. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare processes technical request data: IP address, time of the request, the page requested, and browser and device type.
- Why they are recorded
- Strictly to deliver web pages and images to your browser, maintain network stability, diagnose technical errors, and protect the site against automated abuse or denial-of-service attacks.
- How long they are kept
- We keep no server logs. Cloudflare keeps request data only for as long as its privacy policy (cloudflare.com/privacypolicy) sets out for security and network operations., after which they are automatically overwritten or permanently deleted.
- Hosting provider
- Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The site is delivered from Cloudflare's global network, including data centres outside the UK and Canada; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
Processing outside Quebec and Canada: Depending on your network route and our hosting provider’s (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. The site is delivered from Cloudflare's global network, including data centres outside the UK and Canada; Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.) server locations, technical server logs may be transmitted through or processed on servers located outside your province (including outside Quebec) or outside Canada. Where personal information is processed outside Canada or Quebec, it remains protected by contractual and technical safeguards, though it may be subject to the lawful access laws of that jurisdiction.
